- The NAVSUP FISC Norfolk Procurement Office, Northeast requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Preventative Maintenance Inspections, Repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Emergency Repairs of MHE, and MHE Repair Parts in accordance with the Performance Based Work Statement. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N69078-05-T-0020. The NAICS code is 811310 - Materials Handling Equipment Repair and Maintenance Service! s and the Small Business Standard is $6,000,000. This is a total small business competitive action. The government intends to award a single award with a period of performance 19 April 2005 to 30 September 2005. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
