Description

INVITATION FOR BID: Semi-Custom Base and Upper Kitchen Cabinets; Provide and Deliver Solicitation No. IFB-2005-011 The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified companies to provide and deliver semi-custom base and upper cabinets for thirteen (13) houses on Pilots? Row located on Lincoln Blvd. on the Presidio of San Francisco, CA. This solicitation is for the construction and delivery of semi-custom base and upper kitchen cabinets. The minimum warranty period for these kitchen cabinets to be free from defects shall be for 10 years. The installation of the cabinets will be accomplished by the Presidio Trust. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Scope of work includes: construction and delivery of semi-custom base and upper cabinetry for thirteen (13) Pilots? Row housing units on the Presidio of San Francisco, CA in accordance with a partial drawings set and partial specifications set; 100% Construction Documents Pilots? Row Neighborhood Rehabilitation, dated 8/6/04. These partial drawings and partial specifications will be issued with the IFB package. Estimated start timeframe is April 2005. Period of Performance is one hundred fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the Trust?s written Notice To Proceed (NTP). The Trust anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. Estimated cost to provide and deliver the cabinets is between $50,000 and $100,000. IFB package is scheduled to be issued on or about March 21, 2005. There will not be a Mandatory Site Visit or a Public Bid Opening. Bids will be due NLT 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2005. Qualified small businesses (including small disadvantaged businesses, minority- and women-owned small businesses) are encouraged to respond. The Presidio Trust strongly encourages prime contractors to utilize small businesses, SDBs, HUBZone SBCs, minority-and women-owned small businesses to the fullest extent consistent with efficient contract performance. The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
