- Description: See numbered notes: 9, 12, and 26. 2520-01-413-2595 ? Control Assembly, Gate, lever shift (shift control, dual), used on HMMWV; M1025A2, M1043A2, M1045A2, and M1097A2. These parts are being bought in accordance with Army (19207) source controlled drawing 12460111 with the only current approved sources being AM General Corp (34623) P/N 12460111 and Furon Co (60602) P/N 055742-000004. Parts also required a contractor First Article Test (FAT) and if any of the approved sources make a change to their part they must re-test. Total quantity required is 367 with 56 going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130 and 311 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. The solicitation also has incremental quantity ranges for pricing up to 1000 each and an option for 367 each. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date 4/6/05. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 225 days including time for a FAT. If FAT is waived the required delivery is 150 days. A written quotation is required and is to be returned to the Bid Room DSCC-PBAA by the date and time specified.
