- RECEIPT OF QUOTES EXTENDED TO 4/11/05. AMENDMENT 1 OF SOLICITATION deletes the requirement for General Liability Insurance as required by clause H.8, page 18, entitled AGAR 452.228-71, Insurance Coverage (NOV 1996) item (b). The insurance requirements of (a) Workers Compensation and Employer?s Liability, and (c) Automobile Liability remain in effect. Quotes are sought for trail construction work on the Wenatchee River Ranger District, Chelan County, Eastern Washington. This project will consist of the trail machine maintenance of existing trail drainage structures, adding new drainage structures, and the removal of trail slough and berm where needed, on approximately 12 miles of the Red Hill-- Red Hill Spur Trails. Items of work will include: removing slough and berm, filling ruts and troughs, restoring an estimated 300 existing trail-way drainage structures, and the construction of an estimated 200 new trail-way drainage structures. This project is located west of Wenatchee, Washington and south of Cashmere Washington. From Wenatchee head west on Highway 2 to Cashmere. Turn off Highway 2 ,at the second stop light, onto Applet Way which changes to Division Street, after crossing the railroad tracks. Proceed to County Road #11 (Mission Creek Road) and travel 10.1 kilometers to end of asphalt road and junction of FS Roads # 7104 and # 7100. Follow FS Road # 7104 for approximately 1.5 kilometers to a gate. Turn right into Red Hill Trailhead parking lot. Project begins at the trailhead Bulletin board. Performance period is 180 calendar days with desired start date being April 15, 2005 or sooner. Estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. 100% payment bond is required after award.
