Description

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, is seeking contractor(s) to provide Grazing Lands Inventory, in various counties in North Dakota. The intent of the Agency is to solicit the most efficient and effective manner to complete the requirements of this inventory The contractor tasks will consist of conducting a complete vegetative inventory, and identifying existing physical structures. The primary source of technical guidance in completing tasks under this contract will be the Prescribed Grazing ? 528 Design and Installation Guide. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and support necessary to provide the services as solicited. Contractor shall provide a Project Manager who is a Certified Technical Services Provider for Grazing/Forages. All contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to being awarded a contract by NRCS. The CCR database is the primary Government repository for contractor information required to conduct business with the Federal Government. The Contract period will consist of one year. The North Atlantic American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about April 21, 2005 A pre-proposal site visit will be held. Further information on the site visit will be provided in the solicitation.
