- Description
- The work will consist of furnishing and installing rock riprap in Kay County, Oklahoma. Mobilization, 1 LS; Rock riprap installed, 6,014 tons; riprap bedding installed, 962 tons; geotextile installed, 734 square yards; and hydraulic excavator with operator, 70 hours. All quantities are estimates. Performance time is 9 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $100,000 - $250,000. This procurement is set aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industry Classification Code is 237990. Bid packets will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov on April 5, 2005. There is a site showing scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 18, 2005. The site show will begin at USDA-NRCS Newkirk Field Office, 501 South Pleasantville Road, Newkirk, Oklahoma. Bids may be mailed to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 206, Stillwater, OK 74074, or hand-carried to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 213, Stillwater, OK 74074. BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE 1:00 P.M. ON MAY 10, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the web page frequently and obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Effective immediately, all contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to being awarded a contract by NRCS. The CCR database is the primary Government repository for contractor information required to conduct business with the Federal Government.
