Description: Solicitation No. DJJM-05-RFP-0326, to acquire up to 73 parking permits on a full and open competitive basis, is canceled. In lieu of contracting for parking spaces, the Department of Justice has decided to reopen negotiations to lease the entire parking facility at 600 E Street, NW, Washington, DC. Because it will take at least 6-months to effectuate the lease, the Department intends to negotiate a short term contract with LAZ Parking, LTD, the current operator of the parking facility at 600 E Street, NW, to bridge the gap and ensure continuity of services. The contract will be for a 6-month period plus an option to extend up to 12 additional months should additional time be required to finalize the lease.
