- <div align=center><font face=Century Gothic><font color=blue> The Wilkes Barre VAMC, Northeastern PA, </div>has a contract requirement for a transcriptionist for sworn testimony recorded in the course of internal administrative investigations. Approximately twenty investigations were conducted during that past twelve months, and this number fluctuates. Contractor shall pick-up recorded cassette tapes within 24 hours of notice. Contractor shall convert the recorded session to single-spaced, typewritten pages, one inch margins around. Double-space between speakers. Typed sessions range in length from a single to ten pages. Contractor shall return the proofread, completed documents, the original tapes, and an invoice to the WBVAMC COTR within three business days of pick-up. Upon notification of outstanding errors, Contractor shall make necessary corrections and return the revised document to the COTR within twenty-four hours at no additional cost to the government. Each error in excess of two per session will result in a credit to the government equal to the price of five lines. Contractor shall subtract each credit from the invoice and submit a revised invoice to the COTR. NAICS Code is 561492, Court Reporting and Stenotype Services, with a size standard of $6.0M. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 15.</div> Response to this announcement will determine if sufficient competition exists to allow for a small business set-aside or procurement via the cascade strategy.
