TDP WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. 1290-01-076-6740, Part Number 12283114, The item to procure is a GRIP ASSY, COMMANDERS CONTROL ASSY (1290-01-076-6740) F/M1/M1A1 TANK CONSIST ING OF CLOSE TOLERANCE MACHINED PARTS MADE FROM ALUMINUM 355 OR 356-T6 PRECISION CASTING, BEARINGS, SYNTHETIC RUBBER BOOT, ACTUATOR SWITCH, LEVER, SHAFT, TRAVERSE CARTRIDGE AND NUMEROUS WIRING ASSEMBLIES. CARC PAINT IS REQUIRED. Requirements are 100 EA, G RIP ASSEMBLY. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the ABRAMS. Estimated issue date is 8 APRIL 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
