Description

The National Park Service contemplates issuing a sole source contract for the reprocurement of the South Rim Wastewater Treatment Plant at Grand Canyon National Park. This notice of intent is not a Request for Proposals. However, interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Government will consider all responses received within 14 days after publication of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This acquisition is a reprocurement for the competition of work started in January of 2004 and is approximately 60% complete. The general contractor has been terminated for default and the National Park Service intends to contract directly with the subcontractor that has performed the partially completed work. Contractors wishing to submit proposals need to be aware that the finished product must be compatible with and incorporate the existing work and will be required to warranty the entire work, including work performed by others, for a period of one year. NOTE: SOLE SOURCE Procurement: FAR Part 6.302, 6-302-1 applies. The estimated price range is between $100,000 - $250,000. The NAICS classification is 237110.
