Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared by the National Park Service in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No Q5630050014 is issued as a Request for Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Order for Commercial Items. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336120 the size standard is 1000 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-05. The solicitation item is as follows: Background/Purpose & Project Description: To provide a 4x2 33000 lb GVWR truck equipped with a hydraulic hook loader and tarp system to handle 12 yard roll off containers. The containers will be used to collect refuse on Cumberland Island then loaded on the truck to be taken to the landfill on the mainland. Line Item 1: T 300 Kenworth Truck or equal; 250 HP engine C-7 or equal, Automatic Transmission Allison 3500 RDS or equal, Min. Cab to Axle 138", Galbreath U-20-HK-120- 20,000 lb lift capiacity Hook Lift or equal with tarp system. Mounted to the truck and operational. Provide training onsite at Cumberland Island for the safe operation of the equipment. Color of truck is to be Black. This vehicle is to be used primarily on a barrier island so this vehicle will be exposed to a harsh salty enviroment, so any additional coatings to the frame and chassis to provide additional corrosive protection is also required. Line Item 2: 2 (two) each 12 yard rolloff containers Galbreath R1448-1 or equal with 1/4 inch floor, Black in color. Line Item 3: 1(one) each Machinery Platform Galbreath MR-16 or equal. Al items shall have industry standard warranties. The contractor must replace without cost to the government if any part of this product fails due to manufacturing or material defects during the warranty period. F.O.B. Point: Destination;Cumberland Island National Seashore, 101 Wheeler St. ; St Marys, GA. 31558. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Delivery Date: 60 calendar days Protection of Information All information and documentation gathered or produced by the contractor during the course of this work shall be held in strictest confidence and shall be fully protected from access by unauthorized persons. EVALUATION OF COMMERCIAL ITEMS: The Government will award to the responsible offeror based on lowest price technically acceptable. Contractors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: A price quote on company letterhead for the requested services with addresses and phone number can be faxed to (404) 562-3256 to the attention of the referenced Contracting Officer to this solicitation. All responsible bidders must be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR). You may register on line at www.ccr.gov. Also a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
