- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform inspections maintenance repairs, alterations and replacement of heating, ventilating, air conditioning equipment, air driers, and related ducted air distribution systems ranging from 400 tons to small office systems and window units including maintenance and service of all components, devices, equipment and associated systems at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and its annexes. The work will be provided by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Technical Specifications. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed sixty (60) months. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the size standard is $12 million. The approximate solicitation release date is May 10, 2004. the solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-Sol website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued.
