Description

The Food and Drug Administration requires armed guard services at FDA's Muirkirk Road Complex (MRC), 8301, 8401, 8501 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, Maryland 20708 and Food and Drug Administration, 6001 Ammendale Road, Beltsville, MD 20705. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, management and supervision to perform armed guard services. The period of Performance is for one year base period and four 1-year options. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for 8(a)small disadvantaged businesses. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 561612. The size standard is $10.5 million. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation will be issued on approximately March 4, 2005 and may be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation may be requested in writing from the Primary Point of Contact listed in this announcement.
