Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to GS5, LLC for a period of performance from 28 March 2005 through 26 April 2005. These services are currently being provided by GS5, LLC and a HUBZone competition is being conducted under solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020. It is anticipated that award of the competitive action will occur prior to 26 April 2005. GS5, LLC is presently the only company with an in-depth knowledge of the GCCS-J Program Control Management Support Services requirements. A sole source determination has been made in accordance with FAR 5.201. The purchase order award will be made using FAR Part 13 procedures as well as FAR Part 12 procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. This purchase order is being awarded on a sole source basis to GS5, LLC as a bridge between the expiration of contract HC1047-04-C-4036 and award of a new contract in response to solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020. Offerors with an interest in this type of requirement are urged to review solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020 which has been posted on-line and has a closing date of April 13, 2005. Any questions regarding this synopsis should be sent via e-mail to Marina.Atchison@disa.mil before 2:00 p.m. on 24 March 2004. No phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete this requirement based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See numbered note 22.
