Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 1 inch and 1-1/2 inch open-link chain. The chain must meet the requirements listed in NDBC Procedure 8005 Rev. C dated 04/12/02. Each shot shall be 90 ft long. The quantity of the 1-1/2 inch chain is 14 shots with two options to purchase an additional 17 shots. The quantity of the 1 inch chain is 6 shots with an option to purchase an additional 6 shots. Delivery is FOB Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to any shipments. The RFQ and specification are posted as links in this announcement. This solicitation is set aside for small business, see Note 1. FAR 52.225-1 Buy American Act-Supplies and FAR 52.225-2 Buy American Act Certificate apply to this acquisition. 52.225-2 ? Buy American Act Certificate (June 2003) (a) The offeror certifies that each end product, except those listed in paragraph (b) of this provision, is a domestic end product and that the offeror has considered components of unknown origin to have been mined, produced, or manufactured outside the United States. The offeror shall list as foreign end products those end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic end products.
