- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon, intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational/Vocational Education Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution/Federal Prison Camp, Sheridan, Oregon. The successful contractor shall provide an accelerated training program in Computer Related Applications/Business Technology courses leading to a program completion certificate. Service to include, but not limited to, a program coordinator, college courses conducted by an on-site instructor, instruction, curriculum development & guidance, registration, transcript services, record keeping, and appropriate academic counseling. It is estimated the total enrollment will be 20 students at the Federal Correctional Institution and 20 students at the Federal Prison Camp. The Contractor shall provide all required instructional materials, except textbooks, i.e., photocopies, videotapes, dry erase markers/chalk, etc., to support the program. Interested parties must be listed in the directory entitled Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education or education institutions must be accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities or its regional counterpart. This requirement is for an accelerated program; as such, the contract period is anticipated to be from June 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005. The solicitation will be available on or after April 6, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site at http: //www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
