- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Facility Security Division has a requirement for Construction Surveillance Technicians in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. A fixed hourly rate (Labor Hour) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract is expected. The contract is expected to be for a base year and four- (4) one-year options. The cascading acquisition method is expected to be utilized and will be detailed when the solicitation is released. This type of acquisition method gives priority to small businesses provided that their proposals are overall technically acceptable and reasonably priced (competitive range). Large businesses may submit proposals but there is no award guarantee. The Contractor awarded the contract shall have the appropriate security clearances required prior to award, which will be detailed in the solicitation. The Government intends to release this solicitation on or about April 13, 2005. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed out.
