Subject: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Description: This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source procurement to Maria A. Heckaman. This requirement is to procure the Donald A. Heckaman historic military equipment collection to support the historic artifact collections of the U.S. Army Heritage Museum, a component of Army Heritage and Education Center (AHEC) and the US Center of Military History. This collection is the only single historic military collection known to incorporate more than a dozen pattern, model, and series examples of military equipme nt, and many rare and/or one-of-a-kind objects or collection details that relate directly to the AHECs mission of Telling the Armys story, one soldier at a time. This is a non-competitive requirement. NO solicitation exists. All inquiries and conce rns must be addressed in writing to Department of the Army, Northern Region Contracting Center-ACA, Carlisle Barracks Branch, 314 Lovell Avenue Suite 1, Carlisle, PA 17013-5072.
