- This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. No Plans or Specs will be Issued. Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to LSA Associates, Inc. for an Archeological Survey, Nevada. Key components of this work include interface with the USACE survey team and conducting an archeological survey along the Truckee River between V ista and Wadsworth, Nevada, and the Huffaker Hills Detention Basin. The Contractor will survey, and assist with recording and mapping newly located archeology sites, and rerecording previously identified sites, the Contractor may be called upon to co-lead the survey based on his knowledge of the area, and advanced mapping and location skills. Following completion of the survey, the Contractor shall provide a report that summarizes contributions to, observations, and recommendations for the project. All interested parties may provide a statement of their qualifications and any related work experience, no more than 2 pages in length. The period of performance for this Contract will have a contract completion date of 29 September 2005. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is within the dis cretion of the Government. All responses are due to US Army Engineering District, Sacramento Office, Attention: Christopher Swendsen, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, not later than 12:00pm PST on April 7, 2005. This action will be conducted under FSC Code B510, SIC Code 8999, NAICS Code 541620. The size standard is 500 employees.
