Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or before March 28, 2005. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The project is to provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, incidentals and supervision to grind 205 stumps and backfill the holes with dirt. Sites are located at Petersburg National Battlefield's Forts Welch, Urmston and Battery 27. Stumps will be grind to a depth of four (4) inches below grade. The Government anticpates awarding a firm-fixed price contract based on BEST VALUE considering price and contractor experience with grindig stumps on slopes with little to no impact (some stumps are located on earthworks). Contractors will be required to provide Contracting Officer with a list of projects to support experience. SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: APRIL 6, 2005 AT 1:30 PM. NO OTHER SITE VISIT WILL BE SCHEDULED. Contractors should meet at Petersburg National Battlefield Headquarters located at 1539 Hickory Hill Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. The NAICS code is 561730. Quotes must be submitted electronically by May 6, 2005. Quote sheets and experience list must be faxed to Contracting Officer at (804) 732-3615 on May 6, 2005. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
