- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-05-Q-2596. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Frequency Amplifier using stair step analysis qty (1) per the following specifications. Size: 24 inches wide, 36 inches long, 66 inches tall maximum; Weight: 2200 pounds maximum, four corner eyes for lifting; Input Power: 480 VAC +/-10% 3 phase 60Hz 60 amp maximum circuit; Output Power: 48KVA, at 20% duty, 10 second on-time; Operating Temp: 0 deg C to 45 deg C; Storage Temp: -55 deg C to +71 deg C; Operating Humidity: 0 to 95%; Voltage Output: Four selectable taps (local or remote selectable) at 3000V at 16amps, 2120V at 22.6 amps, 1500V at 32amps, and 1060V at 45 amps; Output connections: HI, Center tapped, LOW and Chassis; 3dB Bandwidth: 30KHz to 160KHz; Output Distortion: 2nd and 3rd harmonics <=-35dBC; Output Impedance: 8 ohms or less; Load Power Factor Range: 0-100% capacitive or inductive; Remote Monitoring: Digital output indicating status of ; Cooling: Air cooled; Front Panel Indicators: AC and DC power, Temperature, Voltage and Current Limit, Blown fuses; Front Panel Outputs: BNC Voltage (60dB) and current (20dB); Local amplifier control: Enable/Inhibit/Reset switch, Power switch; Enclosure: Fully enclosed; Output Monitors: Differential Voltage (60dB) and current (20dB); Remote Monitoring: Ready/Inhibit, Over Temperature, Supply ready, Main DC, Blown Fuse, Current Limit, MS type connector; Input Connector: MS Type, High impedance, differential and remote gate enable; Drive Voltage: 1VRMS Max output. Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Undersea Warfare Center Seneca Lake Det., Dresden, NY. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334419, Size standard is 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07.
