Description

The 375th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a sole source commercial purchase order with Living Works Education Inc., 4303D 11th Street SE, Calgary AB, Canada T2X 4X1, for a five day Training for Trainers (T4T) Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) program. The training will take place at or near Scott AFB IL, from 15 through 19 August 2005. This is a follow on procurement to purchase orders FA4407-04-P-0166 and F11623-03-P-0151. The sole source purchase will be awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. These nonpersonal services will provide self-sustaining suicide updates and training as part of a program presently in place and presented by Living Works Education Inc., across Air Mobility Command. The purpose of this training is to increase the confidence and competence of trained ASIST members in dealing with potentially suicidal airmen and family members. The training will certify attending Air Force members to provide ASIST training to other personnel. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability no later than 1 April 2005, 2:00 P.M., CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement after receiving any responses is exclusively at the discretion of the Government.
