- MT RRP CHRU 321(1), FOURCHETTE CREEK ROAD, Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge, Phillips County, Montana. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. This work consists of 3.300 miles of roadway reconditioning, aggregate surfacing, and erosion repair (riprap). Work includes construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; temporary traffic control; 225 m gal watering for dust control; 100 cu yd excavation & embankment; 150 cu yd riprap; 400 ln ft ditch lining; 175 stations road reconditioning; 15,000 t minor crushed aggregate; and other items of work. Project is located approximately 35 miles South of Malta, Montana. Work shall be completed by August 15, 2005. Estimated price range is between $250,000 to $500,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOTs Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
