Description

The VA 22 Network Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This requirement is being set-aside for small business. The NAICS Codes is 33513 and the small business size is 500 employees. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, parts and transportation required to provide repairs/calibrations and preventative maintenance for the Fisher Porter Boiler control system located at the VA Loma Linda Medical Center, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357. For each of the three boilers at VA Loma Linda Medical Center, there are two sub-controllers that communicate with one Master controller and, along with associated control items that are listed in the equipment itemization that comprise the Fisher Porter Boiler control system. Also, the Contractor shall provide on a monthly basis preventative maintenance on the following Fisher Porter Boiler control systems equipment: (a) Feed Water Control: (1) Fisher Porter Modular Controllers for feed water control: (2) AGM T A40008 Multiples Module Rosemount Model 1151 Smart Pressure Transmitter (3) Cleveland Controller Series 9159 Rotary Actuator and Valve control (b) Fuel Control (1) Fisher porter Modular Controller (2) AGM T A40008 Multiples Module (3) Cleveland Controller Series 9159 Rotary Actuator, Valve Contract (c) Master Controller: Fisher Porter Controller one (1) each, communicates with subs and masters in Plant. (d) The monthly inspections and maintenance shall include all circuitry, wiring and components related to the boiler controls. The contract will be for a base year with four options. Solicitation will be available on or about 3/29/05 with proposals due on or about 4/25/05.
