Description
The Joint Military Intelligence College is the nation's center of excellence for the education of intelligence professionals--military and civilian-- and is authorized in law by the US Congress to award the Bachelor of Science in Intelligence and the Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence degrees. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College serves the educational needs of the US Intelligence Community and draws its student from all branches of the US military services and from all agencies of the US Intelligence Community. Instruction is conducted at the highest levels of security classification as all students; faculty and staff hold Top Secret clearances. The College is chartered by the Department of Defense and is attached to the Defense Intelligence Agency, with its main campus at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center located in Washington, DC. The college seeks to award, through Virginia Contracting Activity, competitive contracts for full-time and part-time instructors for one year with an option for one additional year beginning on or about 11 Aug 2005 in the following areas: Full-time East Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and South East Asia) (PR #212/0080Z/05) and Part-time Middle east studies (focus on Levant and North Africa) (PR #212/0079Z/05). Qualification Requirements: Applicants must be US citizens with a current Top Secret/SCI Clearance, at least a Master's Degree in an appropriate academic discipline, experience as a university-level (preferably graduate-level) teacher, evidence of accomplished research and writing on topics relative to the position, experience in the national security affairs gained by teaching national security related subjects or by employment in the Intelligence Community of national security structure of the United States.
