Description

Contractor is to furnish all labor, parts, travel and test equipment necessary to provide a radiation survey at the VA Medical Center, 1 VA Center., Augusta, ME 04330. Services to include but not limited to: Annual visits to the Togus VA Medical Center. (Other site visits if necessary as deemed by the radiation safety officer). The annual visits shall commence in May for the year 2005. In 2006 the quarters shall commence on October 1. The vendor must provide “Up-to-Date” compliance recommendations to the radiation safety officer as requirements change. Provide annual radiation protection surveys/tests of all facility x-ray units. Provide annual calibration of all nuclear medicine radiation survey meters. Provide consultative services to all radiation safety compliance questions. Period of performance to be 1 May 2005 - 30 Sep 2005 with four option years. If all option years are exercised then total length of contract will be through 30 Sep 2009. Numbered Note 1 applies to this solicitation.
