Description

UHF & VHF LAN MOBILE RADIO EQUIPMENT MEETING OR EXCEEDING APCO PROJECT 25 CONVENTIONAL AND TRUNKING STANDARDS, PROJECT 25 TRUNKING 9600 BAUD (INCLUDING SMARTNET, SMARTZONE, AND CONVENTIONAL), AND CAPABLE OF OPERATING IN LEGACY TRUNKING SYSTEMS. The Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA is tasked with procuring UHF & VHF LAN mobile radio equipment that must be capable of operating in legacy trunking systems and meets or exceeds APCO Project 25 conventional and trunking standards. The Solicitation Number is FA4890-05-R-0149 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 8 Apr 05. This requirement is intended to be procured through Full and Open Competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The government intends to select the lowest-price, technically acceptable offer that conforms to the requirements of the solicitation for consideration of award under this solicitation.
