- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to provide Facility and Activity Security Management, Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical, Industrial, Informational and Information Systems Security, Personnel, and Documentary to 366 OSS. It will directly support existing combat IT readiness programs as well as scheduled and unscheduled operational security. The scope includes support to the programs, projects and processes used by 366 OSS to develop or sustain combat capabilities that meet existing and anticipated wartime requirements. It includes assistance to the 366 OSS and subordinate units for integrating readiness efforts. Included is the general administrative activity required for implementation, and execution of various INFOSEC programs, directives and security policy. They will also act as the office of coordination responsibility in preparation, design, execution, maintenance, supervision, modification, repair, material handling, safety, and any other coordination activities with other Air Force, Sister Service and/or industry programs as directed by the 366 OSS. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year and four one-year options. This Standard industrial Classification for this acquisition is, and the North American Industry System code is 561990. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should notify this office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as early as possible but not later than 14 days after publication of this notice. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation shall be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still required from all interested business concerns. Solicitation documents will be made available o/a 1 March 2004. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
