- Description: The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFFRI) through the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) intends to award a cost type contract with the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) for a Post-Doctoral Resident Research Associate ship Program. The contemplated contract is a continuation of a prior program between the NAS and the AFFRI/USUHS. NAS manages the administration of the program, establishes standards, solicits and screens applicants, identifies exceptional candidates, and selects post-doctoral scientists, or junior fellows to serve a one year associate ship with an option to renew. Scientists selected for this program shall conduct scientific research in line with the mission, and will be required to submit research proposal and research reports.
