- This requirement in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is N00253-05-Q-0137. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2001-26. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334418 and has a size standard of 500 employees. NUWC Division Keyport has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001: 2 Each – Switching Matrix, 8 X 32 Relay Matrix. Part Number: 1467A. Known Manufacturer, Hewlett Packard (or equivalent). The HP E1467A matrix module offers the highest switch density avail! able in an HP 75000 Series C Plug-In card. The HP E1467A is an 8 X 32 matrix in which each cross-point switches both high and low, The HP E1467A features easy expansion to larger matrixes via a chaining cable that allows you to interconnect rows on different modules. The HP E1465/66/67A matrix modules offer similar densities, with different row/column sizes and similar performance specifications. These matrix modules consist of three different terminal blocks that plug into the same component card (labeled E1466-66201). The switching topology of each individual product is determined by connections made when the terminal block is plugged into the component card. You can change matrix topology simply by plugging in a different terminal block, and you can purchase multiple terminal blocks if desired. DFAR Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. The following DFAR clauses cited in this clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 252.225-7001 Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program, 252.247-7023 Transportation of Supplies by Sea. The following DFAR clauses are incorporated by reference 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. The following DFAR clause has been added in full 252.211-7001 Item Identification and Valuation. Quotes/Offers are due no later than 04 Apr 05, 1500 hours Pacific Time. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9. Commercial Simplified Procedures shall be used for this procurement.
