Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and on the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for Engineering Consulting services in support of performing annual ISO 14001 surveillance audits, registration functions, and a re-assessment audit. Services shall include document reviews, site visits, interviews and audits of NUWCDIVNPT to determine conformance to ISO 14001 requirements. Evaluation of a variety of issues including but not limited to NUWCDIVNPT’s administrative processes, technical capabilities and operations, training and experience of personnel, regulatory compliance, environmental aspects and impacts, management review and internal audit processes in relation to the ISO 14001 standard. Interested firms must be an accredited ANSI-RAB/ ISO 14001 Registrar. Proposed personnel shall possess strong environmental and management backgrounds with extensive experience conducting ISO 14001 registration audits, in particular Department of Defense (DOD) registration experience. A lead auditor accredited by ANSI/RAB 14001 is also required. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The period of performance shall be for one base year with four one-year Options. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of “Best Value” to the Government. NAICS: 541620. Size standard: $6.0M. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
