- MEDICAL SECOND OPINION SERVICES WITH REGARD TO CLAIMANTS UNDER THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES' COMPENSATION ACT (FECA) DISTRICT OFFICE Category: Q--Medical Services The United States Department of Labor’s Office of Worker's Compensation Programs is seeking a contractor for delivery of medical second opinion services for claimants under the FECA who are serviced by the DFEC District Office in Boston (Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont). An indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract is anticipated, on a firm fixed unit price bases. This is a 100% full and open competition. For your information, the NAICS code for this requirement is 621999 and the size standard is $7.5 million. The period of performance of the proposed contract is anticipated to encompass one base year plus four additional option years. Only one award is anticipated.
