Description

This is a market survey to locate sources of compact and rugged portable antenna masts made of non-conducting material. The construction of the masts should enable the attachment antenna-radiating element into the masts structure. The antenna masts should be able to be deployed and returned to storage quickly and repeatedly. The lengths of the antenna mast of interest range from 4 meter to 10 meter. The weight and dimensions of the 10 meter mast in storage should be less than 40 lb, the L (length ) or W (width) or H (height) should be less than 18 inch, and the sum of L + W + H should be less than 36 inch. The weight and dimensions of the 8 meter mast in storage should be less than 15 lb, the L or W or H should be less than 12 inch, and the sum o f L + W + H should be less than 36 inch. The weights and dimensions of shorter masts should be reduced. Any interested sources please send information for evaluation NLT 10 days after this publication to US Army CERDEC.
