- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement to support the production of Dog Coupler Assemblies for use in the Lightweight 155mm Howitzer (LW155) system. The Dog Coupler Assembly is a component of the Primer Feed Mechanism (PFM), and is a safety lock that prevents the PFM tray from dropping during recoil and counter-recoil after the LW155 is fired. A firm fixed price purchase order shall be used for this acquisition utilizing 100% Small Business Set-Aside procedures. The quantity requirement shall be 100 units to be delivered over an eight month period of performance. The competititve Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available electronically at the following Internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about fifteen (15) days from date of this announcement.
