- Aquatic Weed Treatment, Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, AL and MS in accordance with attached Scope of Work and Wage Rates. Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, herbicide, labor, supplies, equipment, tools, vehicles , insurance and aircraft to perform aquatic weed herbicide treatments by helicopter on the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway in AL and MS. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Primarily between 1 Jul 2005 and 30 Sep 2005 unless weather conditions dictate otherwise. It is e stimated that up to 1,400 acres may be treated, however work will be required on an as needed basis. The initial treatment will consist of at least 500 acres, minimum, with any additional treatments (if needed) to be a minimum of 300 acres each. LOCATION OF WORK: The work will be performed on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway in Alabama and Mississippi on Gainesville, Aliceville, Columbus and Aberdeen Lakes. NOTE: CONTRACT TYPE: FIRM FIXED PRICE. Any variance from requested scope of work should be note d at time of bid. NAICS CODE: 115112. SIC CODE: 0721, SIZE STANDARD: $6.0M. The Request For Quotation will be available on March 23, 2005 and closing date is April 5, 2005 at 2:00 P.M (DST). All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be c onsidered.
