Description
The following changes are made to the previously issued synopsis: a. Technical requirements: Add: Para. 2) Develop and execute mission assurance and post-flight analyses. Support launch operations and mishap/anomaly investigations. Delete: Para. 2) Support mission assurance, launch operations, post-flight analyses and mishap/anomaly investigations. Add: Para. 3) Support aging surveillance programs by developing requirements and procedures, supporting test activities, designing and developing special test equipment, developing service life estimates, design and develop tests, and analyzing test results. b. Clearances and Access requirement: Clearances and Accesses: Prospective offerors must have the appropriate facility clearance for TOP SECRET data storage and meetings with approximately 15 to 20 personnel holding a TOP SECRET clearance at contract start. Other contractor personnel must hold or be able to obtain a minimum of a SECRET clearance within 180 days of contract start as needed in performance of work under the contract. Additionally, in order to gain access to government information systems or contractor-owned systems used to process government data or information ALL contractor personnel must have a national agency check. c. INDUSTRY DAY: Sponsored by the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Detachment 12, Rocket Systems Program Office, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117 will host an Industry Day forum on the Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS), Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SE/TA) acquisition. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in Conference Room 11, Bldg. 404, Kirtland, AFB, NM. The address is 2351 Carlisle SW. Located on the Southwest corner of Carlisle and Lowry. The purpose of this Industry Day Conference is to provide interested parties and potential offerors an opportunity to receive information on the acquisition and provide feedback. The classification for the briefing is UNCLASSIFIED. Attendance will be limited to three (3) personnel per company/team. All notifications of attendance, list of names, attending and phone numbers and any questions regarding this announcement must be made, by e mail, by Thursday 14 Apr 2005 to Ms. Virgie Henderson at Virgie.Henderson@kirtland.af.mil. If you are planning to attend the Industry Day Conference, please provide visit request information to Mr. Gary Fain by FAX at (505) 846-4355. He can be reached at (505) 853-3660 if you have any questions. Visit requests should be received by noon on 15 Apr 2005 to assure we have a visitor badge for you the morning of the conference. In order to enter Kirtland AFB, attendees will also need to provide proof of insurance, registration and a valid driver's license. We are scheduling one-on-one meetings by request the day of the conference. Directions from the Kirtland AFB Truman Gate: Take a right on Aberdeen Ave just south of the gate. Proceed to Carlisle Blvd, turn left. Bldg 404 is located on the corner of Carlisle and Lowry. There is parking available on the north and south sides of the building. Entrance to Bldg 404 is on the east side. You will need to ring the door bell to gain entrance.
