- Description
- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Construction & Equipment (C&E) Division intends to issue a solicitation in accordance with Performance Specification MIL-PRF-32001 (NSN 4520-01-457-2790), for the Thermo electric fan on or around April 11, 2005. The solicitation will be available for approximately 30 days. This specification covers the performance and acceptance requirements for a self-powered fan unit and transport case for use with radiant type, non-electrical powered tent heaters, to distribute heated air in military tents. The contract performance period will be for a two (2) year base period with 3 one (1) year options. The total yearly estimated quantity is 350 each for each year. A Product Demonstration Model will be required at no expense to the government. First Article Testing is required. This is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation is for a Long Term Contract supporting Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) and/or stock requirements. The solicitation will not become available until the solicitation date.
