Description

The Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical has a requirement for providing preventive maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on an Abbott Axsym chemistry analyzer. The contractor shall furnish all necessary parts, materials, labor, supervision, test equipment, technical manuals, and transportation. Contract period will be a base of 6 months with four (4) one-year renewal options. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219. Repair technicians shall be trained and certified on the above mentioned equipment. It shall be maitained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended maintenance requirements. Service must include software upgrades at no additional charge. Contractor must furnish 24 hour phone support. Bids are being requested and a written solicitation issued 3/25/2005. Request for bid packages may be faxed to (989) 791-2886 or emailed to carole.soule@med.va.gov. Proposals are due by 3:30PM March 31, 2005.
