- Description
- This requirement is a set-aside for Small Business. The NAIC code is 238210, $12.0M. The FAA New England Region currently has a requirement for the installation of three Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) facilities serving Runways 15,29 and 33 at Worcester Regional Airport, Worcester, MA. The scope of work includes the PAPI installation and demolition of the existing VASI systems. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Layout, site preparation, excavation, cast in-place reinforced concrete foundations, concrete pull box installation, underground electrical conduit/duct bank installation, electrical cable installation electrical grounding, etc as described in the Technical Specifications. Period of performance is 35 calendar days total for all 3 PAPI installations and 5 calendar days total for all 3 VASI demolitions. Estimated price range is $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of April 11, 2005. Contractors must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the construction of/or demolition of the same or similar navigational aids as outlined in the Technical Specifications. Submit references when submitting your offer. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration. All requests for solicitation packages must be in writing, and include a check, mailed to Maureen Gross, FAA, 12 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803.
