- Market Research for commercially available Command & Control (C2) applications that are compliant with the Command & Control Information Exchange Data Model (C2IEDM) as delineated below. In support of US Army Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Battle Command Battle Labs (BCBL), the Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Communications-Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Command and Control Dire ctorate (C2D) is researching commercially available Command & Control (C2) applications that are compliant with the Command & Control Information Exchange Data Model (C2IEDM). Specifically, CERDEC C2D is researching commercial C2 applications that address the following requirements: TO (Task Organization) Creation/Modification of TO Import/Export TO Aggregation/De-aggregation Display platform/weapon info Display Settings Display Range/Sensor Fans Display Inter-visibility & Mobility info Toggle/Filter visibility of units, graphics Customizable interface (e.g. moveable toolbars) Planning Create mission Icons are displayed in 2525B format Display standardized map formats (DTED, ADRG, CADRG, etc.) Utilize standardize mapping toolkit (i.e. C/JMTK) Collaborative Planning Synchronous/Asynchronous planning Disconnected planning Manage Multiple Courses of Actions (COA). Store data in universal format (C2IEDM required) Execution Mode Create alerts to be notified of when specific events occur Create and send spot reports Unit tasking/re-tasking Utilize standard message formats, for example: o JVMF (Joint Variable Message Format) o BML (Battle Management Language) Compare plan vs CurSit (Current Situation) Allow for adaptive planning Running Estimate Track logistical information Receive and Track CCIR (Commanders Critical Information Requirements) GCMs and Overlays Draw 2525B GCMs Customizable overlays to hold graphics.
