- Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Satellite Communications to WorldSpace Corporation, 2400 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20037-1188. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because WorldSpace is the only vendor that can meet the requirement for Satellite Communications.
