Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B1R25074A100 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. This acquisition is unrestricted and under North American Industry Classification System code 335129. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for ten Infa-red solar poward runway lights. These Lights must be self contained with no wiring or cabling or battery replacement for a minimum of 4 years. Lights must incorporate infrared LEDs, mono-crystalline solar panels, lead acid battery pack, on/off puch button waterproof rubber switch with programming capability of 3 intensities and optional flashing pulse of 60 flashes per minute. Lights must combine solar power and LEDs and operate from dusk till dawn. Lights must be able to provide 150 hours of autonomy from a single charge. Lights must be able to operate between –40 degrees Celsius and + 80 degrees Celsius. Lights must operate using automatic light control; automatically adapt to the solar environment where they are installed, thereby changing intensity in order to stay on from dusk till dawn in inadequate solar conditions. Lights must operate under independent light output characteristics: precise brightness control and power consumption adjustment achieved by pulse with modulation.. Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 303 J AVE, BLDG 302, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 10:00 (10:00AM) CST, 25 August 2004 signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (May 2004) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, please request one from the point of contact, and a copy will be faxed. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items (Jun 2004) and its deviations (Apr 2004) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
