Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is DTCG89-05-Q-65A253 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 238330. The small business sized standard is $6M annually. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the installation of carpet. SCOPE: Contractor shall install Government supplied 24”x24” carpet tiles, Style: Reflections III, Color: Cloud Images. Carpet to be installed over existing slab in rooms: 105, 111, 112, 113, 119, 121, 123, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131A, 132, 133 and 115 (classroom) at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA 94501. Contractor will pull up and haul away existing carpet tiles and prep floor in listed rooms. Approximate 4100 Sq Ft total. Contractor will furnish and install Burke 4” top base, Color: 505 True Blue. Top set will be installed in all listed rooms. Contractor will provide base adhesive, floor patch and floor prep for all listed rooms. Contractor will remove all furniture to facilitate carpet install in listed rooms. Furniture will remain on site. NOTE: The Service Contract Act of 1965 is applicable to this solicitation therefore, TheDepartment of Labor's Wage Determination Number 94-2051 Revision 25 applies. To obtain a copy of this Wage Determination, please contact Terry Craft @ 510-437-3004. Installation shall take place from 08 Apr 2005 through 11 Apr 2005. Contractor shall contact Omar Alvarez to arrange a pre-move meeting at (510) 437-5301. AWARD: This purchase will be based on the following criteria: Lowest price for installation meeting or exceeding the minimum requirements.
