Description

This amendment is to extend the due date for the response to March 31, 2005 and to clarify the product and the special delivery information; Acceptable Steel Sheet Pile, new, used, or a combination thereof, AZ-18; PZC-18; or PZ-27; in undamaged condition. All supplied sheets must have interlock compatibility. Quantities: 12 ft lengths, 1020 LNFT of wall; 16 ft lengths, 1860 LNFT of wall; FOB delivery to Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska, Toklat Road Camp. Delivery specifics: Approximately 240 driving miles north of Anchorage, Alaska to Park Headquarters (Denali Park Road Milepost 3); Toklat Road Camp (Denali Park Road Milepost 53); The first 15 miles of Denali Park Road are paved, the remaining 38 miles to the site are gravel. The speed limit is 35 mph. Bridges along the Denali Park Road between Park headquarters and Toklat Road Camp have weight restrictions limited to 33 tons. Travel between Teklanika Rest Area (Milepost 30) and Toklat Road Camp will be limited to the hours of 10:00 pm to 6am.Package sheet piles for off-loading by forklift in bundles not to exceed 10,000 pounds. Delivery of the Steel Sheet Pile to Toklat Road Camp should be no later than July 8, 2005. For any technical questions in regard to the product, contact Reuben Johnson (360) 619-7995.
