Description
The following questions with answers to them are hereby provided to inquiries received on Solicitation Numbers H99239-05-T-0022 AND H92239-05-T-0023, U-MILITARY MOBILE FORCE PROTECTION TRAINING: Question: Does the Government have a preference on what types of less-than-lethal weapons should be used. Answer: Fro the purpose of our training we will not be using any spray’s or batons (down range some are using batons) but we are not and not getting them (batons) issued. QUESTION: Will the Government be providing all firearms and if so what type. Which firearms in the Contractor expected to provide ANSWEER: M9 (9mm) and M16 and or M4 (if available) QUESTION? Will the Government provide load-bearing equipment? If so, what type? ANSWER: Yes, we will provide LBV equipment. QUESTION? What brand name and type of holster, magazine holder, and less-than –lethal holster is the Government currently using for this type of training? ANSWER: No definite type, if the contractor can supply we will use what they provide. QUESTION? What model and type of handgun would USASOC prefer? Sig 229/s Beretta 93FS’s, ect. ANSWER: As stated above standard U.S. Army issued M ((9mm) M16 and if Available M4. QUESITON? What class size, number of students/class, does the Government prefer? ANSWER: That is up to the contractor to decide what is the most effective class size for training as required as shown in the Performance Work Statement. QUESTION? The Solicitation Number listed under General Information does not match the number listed under “Description”. ANSWER: Due to Typographical Error -Correction – Both the Solicitation and Description number should have been H92239-05-T-0022.
