Description

In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Library Technicians, NIEHS. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officers (CO) are Lisa Schneider and Patricia Pemberton. The projected end date of the Competition is August 9, 2005. The functions at NIH include but are not limited to document delivery, shelving, reference assistance, circulation, serials/journals management and other library activities. These services, are currently provided by two Federal Government employee. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about August 12, 2005. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
