Description

Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the Albuquerque Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 Jun 2005 through 31 May 2006 with four option periods. Services are for a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 2400 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 28 maximum, but average 15 applic ants daily. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The soli citation will be posted on the Fort Knox homepage website at: http://www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 28 Mar 05. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewi se posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal. Proposal must be written and submitte d in original plus four copies and mailed to Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 1109B, Rm 250, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5000. Please mark outside of package with solicitation number and opening date as stated in the solicitation in Block 8. Proposal will not be a ccepted by email or facsimile.
