Description

The Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 8.404 to I2, Inc., 6551 Loisdale Court, Suite 600, Springfield, Virgina 22150-1820 under GSA Contract no. GS-35F-0241J. This procuremen t is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Topographic Engineering Center (TEC) r equires maintenance of Analyst Notebook for their previously purchased Analyst Notebook software. The previously purchased Analyst Notebook software is proprietary. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide this supply or service in writing to the identified point of contact not later that 1600 hrs CST on 30 March 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a compet itive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in res ponse to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Robin.L.Green@MVK02.usace.army.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line . *****
