Description

The Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 8.404 to SRA International, Inc. dba Orion Division, 8400 Westpark Drive, Suite 200, McClean, Virginia, 22102-2357 under GSA Contract n o. GS-35F-5412H. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Topogr aphic Engineering Center (TEC) requires maintenance of Orion Magic software. Previously purchased Orion Magic software from SRA is proprietary. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide this supply or service in writing to the identified point of contact not later that 1600 hrs CST on 30 March 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determ ination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
