Description
This planning PR is initiated to obtain a firm fixed price requirement type contract for the repair of the APR-46A/A(V)1 Receiving Systems used on the MC-130E/H and the AC-130H/U Aircraft. One basic year plus two one year options. There are 62 NSN’s with major items as listed below: NSN: 5985-01-385-0743EW, P/N: 657565-001 – BEQ QUANTITY 36 NSN: 5985-01-398-1061EW, P/N: 635195-001 – BEQ QUANTITY 7 NSN: 5985-01-411-2919EW, P/N: 752931-001 – BEQ QUANTITY 3 NSN: 5985-01-471-3813EW, P/N: 751130-003 – BEQ QUANTITY 4 The approximate issue/response date will be 14 November 2003. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems (formerly Condor Systems), 18705 Madrone Parkway, Morgan Hill, California. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1), Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government has no data or test equipment for repair of these items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential Offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns if any, concerning this acquisition.
